Chibi Merge: the guide

A drop-and-merge game where every upgrade belongs to your chosen hero.

How to play

Choose Kael, Yuna, Selene, or Eira, then press Play. Move your pointer to aim and click to drop a form. On a phone, tap the playfield at the position where you want it to fall. Two touching forms of the same level combine into the next level. Different levels collide, bounce, and roll instead of merging.

The original merge rules

New drops are drawn from levels 0–3. Two equal levels merge into the next form, while different levels bounce and roll against each other. Aim carefully, leave space for larger forms, and let the pile settle between drops.

Make room before you drop

Watch the Next preview before choosing a position. Leave room for the larger form a merge will create, and try to keep matching levels close together. A flat pile is easier to manage than a tall stack under one side of the drop line. After a busy chain, let the moving pieces settle before your next drop.

Scoring and the final form

Each merge awards 10 × 2 to the power of the new level: reaching level 1 gives 20 points, and level 2 gives 40. Your character has fourteen forms, from level 0 to level 13. Level 13 is the final transformation. Two final forms do not upgrade further; you can keep playing to improve your score.

When the round ends

The round ends when an older piece remains above the danger line long enough to fill the two-second danger meter. Newly dropped pieces get a short grace period. Pause when you need a break, or restart from the controls below the board. Your best score and highest form save in this browser.

Keyboard controls

Focus the playfield, use the left and right arrow keys to aim, and press Space to drop. Press P to pause or resume. Sound starts off and can be switched on from the controls. Your current round saves in this browser; Continue round restores it on your next visit.
